ACRYLIC IS AN INERT MATERIAL. 100% AQUARIUM SAFE.
The Green cubes are fluorescent and will glow when in the influence of a black fluorescent or Actinic type light.
As you can see from the picture of the cubes on the black grid, they are translucent.
The color of the cubes will of course vary depending on the back round color and light conditions due to being translucent.
These cubes are cut from 1″ square acrylic rods. Because they are cut
from rods, 2 sides of the cube is saw cut. 4 Sides are clear. The 2 cut
sides look somewhat frosted. PLEASE view all the pictures before
purchasing.

SQUARE ACRYLIC ROD FACTS YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE BUYING

THE SQUARE SIZE DIMENSION STATED IN THE AUCTION IS
NOMINAL.
i.e.: A SQUARE NOMINAL SIZE OF 1” X 1” ROD IS TYPICALLY 31/32” X 31/32”.
2.
THE SIDES OF SQUARE RODS TEND TO BE SLIGHTLY CONCAVE. THEY ARE RARELY ALWAYS PERFECTLY FLAT BUT THESE DO SIT FLAT ON THE SAW CUT SIDE.
To assure that you get the finest quality, the protective sleeve is kept in place on the rod while being cut to protect the acrylic. Cubes will come in a resealable zip lock bag.
All rods cubes have saw cut edges on both ends. Saw cutting can cause micro
chips on the ends of the rod as seen in the pictures.
Please allow a length tolerance of +/- 1/32″ on all pieces.
