HEADS UP BEFORE ORDERING!
If you buy this plate,
there is about a 5% possibility you will find the plate is SLIGHTLY too big and doesn’t initially fit!
By “slightly too big” I mean literally a “hair” too tight to fit. If you definitely have an AmbicoV0551 or V0552, the plate is the correct plate, but the problem is due to a “bad” batch of Ambico tripods with a manufacturing spec that was off very slightly. There is an easy fix (like 2 minutes). You only need to file off (or use coarse sandpaper) a tiny bit of the base of the plate (on the 2 straight sides, not the beveled side), or alternately do this to the tripod opening where the plate goes.
By removing just the slightest amount of plastic, it will fit in and work perfectly!
