Vintage Antique Chinese Ceramic Caddy – Garlic/Tea Storage – Potpourri Box –  Censer Sticks Ceremonial Alter Box
Lovely Blue & White Painted Dragon Foo Dog With Ball and Floral Scroll Pattern. Nice Geometric Design on Edges.
This lovely porcelain box has a recessed lid that sits inside the top opening. The lid has a large finger hole in center to lift the lid out and 6 smaller holes Unsigned and unmarked. Bottom has a scrolled design.
We are not certain what this type of box was made for. We suggest tea, garlic or shallots, incense sticks or cones, potpourri, etc. It may have been used as a ceremonial or alter piece as a censer or to hold prayer sticks. Or perhaps it could be a pillow box as we’ve seen from our  research online. We leave it’s purpose to the experts. Looks great on a shelf and perfect for stashing valuables or money.

Rectangular shaped. Stands 6 inches high by 5 inches wide by 3-1/8 inches deep.
Pre-ship weight is 1 lb. 13 ozs.
CONDITION:

If we can’t prove our data was correct, we will accept the return. Your return request must take place within 30 days of purchase. After 30 days, any requests will be null, void, & unacceptable.
