Good condition original WWI German or Austrian pioneer axe.
Also used as a trench weapon. Metal has nice looking brown patina. Wooden
handle shows some normal handling marks and wear and a few chips. Marked “JC in
oval” on the right side of the blade. Scarce piece for your collection.
